What is Monkey Patching?

• IMHO it is just another name of mocking.
• .. or test doubles, if you prefer that name.

• Replace some internal part of a module or class for the sake of testing.
• Monkey Patching might be a subset of Mocking, but who knows? As far as I know there is no “official” definition of any of these.
